With the high production of Paddy, one of the major cash crops in India and to aid in improving
its productivity , VAI introduced Rice Transplanter to the farmers, which has
improved the efficiency of the transplanting method in India. It also aids in
the efficient operations of the Combine Harvestors which are used in the harvesting of the
Paddy at the end of the cultivation.
Rice Transplanting being labour oriented in India so far, these Machines have now helped in reducing the labour costs and also increased the
final output from these farm lands to a greater extent. Currently VAI is marketing only one model,
a 8 Row Rice Transplanter- riding type since the last 5 years.
It has a base of over 500 satisfied Customers mainly in South India.
Since there is no dearth of labour in India, it has been an
herculean task to convince the farmers on the efficiency of the
Machine. However the increasing sales figures speaks for itself on the growing demand for these machines.
